BBP Escorted Trips
Am working on a trip, Cuba, April 2018
Three or four nights at Punta Pescadero. (East Cape, Baja)
We have set up a pre/post trip (before or after) Whales however it looks like there will be space for those not on the trip.
There are two overlaping dates of three nights (can add another) starting on February 4 or 5 ending on February 7 or 8 depending on your choice.
And the price is an amazing $275 per person double occupancy for the three nights and include your sea-side room(s), all meals, unlimited margaritas & soft drinks, use of quads, and more.
The resort has about 20 rooms of which we have about 8 open rooms open for those that are interested. When they are sold out, we cannot add additional rooms.
This trip is now closed
New this year and listening to our members, we have expanded our Whales experience to two weekends. And still listening to our members, the first weekend will be out of the Hotel Serenidad in Mulege and the second will be based out or the Hotel Mission in Loreto.
Many have indicated they miss the old days of dirt strips, walking out the gate to kick tires, and the ambiance of both the Serenidad and the town of Mulege
Others have indicated the really like to base out of the ‘five star’ Mission with it close proximity to downtown Loreto and all it offers.
Now you can have your choice of the best of two worlds…. Mulege or Loreto. And we will continue to fly over to Lopez Mateos to spend time with one of the world’s greatest mammals, the great grey whale. Yes, it is touch, pet, hug, and is some cases, kiss a whale, an experience that will never be forgotten.
We have bought out both the Serenidad and the Mission for this year’s Whales event.
For Whales 2018, we will be doing the Serenidad starting on Thursday, February 1st through the 4th and the Mission again starting on Thursday February 8th through the 11th.
Always a lot of fun as well as a chance to be up close to the Grey Whales, this year, as in the past promises to be an experience that will last in your memories forever.
Note, We have sold all the rooms at the Hotel Mision. If you choose this trip, you will be put on a standby list for the Mision and if not available, be assigned another hotel within close walking distance to the Mision. All activities including programs, meals, etc. will be at the Mision.
The trip is closed
Whales 2018 Mulege is a wrap.
What a hoot. It was Whales, food, drink, and fun. What a great bunch of people. Got to admit that it has been a long time since I danced to one in the morning. And so did most of the others. We had a four piece band playing our kind of music and the back room of the Serenidad rocked.
The whales are there however stayed back several feet from the boats.
And the grand prize this year which was a photo of the winner and me on the home page this year was "Huck" Huckaby from San Jose, CA.
Now, it is time to do it again, this time from the Hotel Mision in Loreto....
Whales 2018 Loreto Info
Mexico is ready for you…. I am in Loreto on the fourth floor of the Hotel Mision looking over the Sea of Cortez as I write this notice. Life is really good.
The weather is perfect with a few scattered, was a Lopez Mateos yesterday and it was severe clear and about 80 degrees. Perfect….
The Airport is set and all is set to welcome all on the trip. And for you guys down at Pescadero, you have already started.
In working with operations at the airport, we have been to make a major change in our parking. They have given us all of slot 3 on the commercial side to park aircraft. With that, we will be keep all aircraft off Bravo thistly solving a major parking challenge, that of parking on Bravo.
BBP Ground is still 119.5, once off tower frequency, you will be directed to your parking area.
And the good news is now, both Rocky Point and San Felipe have fuel. No joke, Felipe is good until they sell 6,000 gallons.
